Diabetes Health
Diabetes is a chronic disease characterized by high glucose levels in the blood due to the body’s inability to produce or use insulin properly. The term “diabetes” refers to three categories: type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes. In each, the body does not produce or use insulin correctly — a hormone needed to convert sugar starches and other food into energy we need to live. As a result, people with diabetes must obtain and administer various diabetic supplies in order to even stay alive. The exact causes of diabetes are still unclear, although lifestyle factors play an important part in the development of diabetes and its complications. Regular exercises to lose belly fat and a wholesome diet help the body use insulin more efficiently and contribute to weight loss, a common factor in developing this disease.
