Mood is an important indicator of what’s going on in your life. If you’re feeling down, check to see if you’re getting enough sleep and exercising on a regular basis. Studies have shown that proper amounts of these basic lifestyle elements will help increase your endorphins and improve your mood!
Workout your brain
When you exercise, you challenge your body. But, don’t neglect the fact that your brain needs activity too! You can stimulate your brain by trying new things, including learning a computer program, taking up a second language, or practicing a dance step. Activating your brain helps you stay alert and functioning at a high level.
Live your life with purpose
Positive health starts from within. So when you begin living in-line with your purpose, you’ll notice that everything will fall into place a little bit more easily. One way to start this is by volunteering for an organization that you believe in. Participating in events that you’re passionate about helps keep your life in perspective and your mind in a healthy state.

Throughout the day, it’s vital that you listen to your thoughts. If you start to notice negative patterns looping through your brain, say the word “STOP!” out loud. That simple technique can halt your thoughts and break the negative cycle.

They can be simple, like the changing colors and the leaves outside my window, or the fresh smell of cut flowers. Maintaining this list will help improve your mindset and start your day on a happy note.
